One Glass of Milk

One stormy night, a child knocked at a woman’s house.

The child was very weak.

The woman prepared milk for him and learned that his name was Nike2x.

The child was so thankful.

After many years, the woman grow old and very sick, no one cared for her.

When she was admitted in the hospital, she was very worried because she didn’t have money to pay.

After her operation, there was a short note beside her table.

It was the bill she had to pay.

She was trembling while opening the note,

And read:

“The bill is already paid, thank you for one glass of milk”

What Sounds Great?

A cup from Starbucks..

The hottest car model..

Endless shopping..

The grandest house..

An iMax ticket..

The coolest Nokia phone and iPod..

Cruising around Venice..

All sound great, right?

Still, something is better than all this summed up..

What is that?

Having you to share my 5-peso cup of gulaman and qwek-qwek..

A long jeepney ride..

Crowded house tambayan..

Pirated DVD marathon..

An overnight in a friend’s crib..

And the memories of a lifetime friendship..

Seat Number 08

An Airplane Story:

A flight attendant began circling the cabin before take-off..

The cabin was already closed, the air stairs pulled away..

A woman sitting in economy stopped her, and politely asked, “please remind my husband to take his heart medicine? He’s in business class, seat number 8.”

The flight attendant smiled and assured the woman she would see to it..

After take-off, the flight attendant approached the man in business class seat number 8.

“Sir,” she said, “please remembers to take your heart medicine.”

The surprised man looked up. “How do you know I have a heart condition?” he asked.

“Your wife requested me to remind you,” the attendant answered..

The man suddenly broke down in tears..

The flustered attendant asked him what was wrong..

The weeping man told her, “My wife is dead. Her body is in this plane. I’m taking her home to bury her.”

The Depressed Swimmer

A depressed swimmer went to practice..

The lights were all off only the moonlight was bright..

He climed up to the highest diving board to the pool, and extended his arms out..

He noticed his shadow formed a Cross shape..

Instead of diving, he first knelt down and prayed to God to come in his life..

Suddenly, someone walked in and turned the lights on..

He cried when he saw that the pool have been drained for repair..

*Come to think of the message..
